Because we are a carbon farming program born in the Mediterranean, tailored for its permanent and herbaceous crops. We have been working for five years with over 750 farmers, to whom we have already paid around €400,000. We take care of the entire process, from measurement to credit sales, utilizing three distinct channels so payouts do not rely on a single buyer.
Does your cooperative fit the Program?
Your members can join if they have:
Permanent crops: olive trees, almond trees, vineyards, citrus, and fruit trees. From 5 hectares.
Herbaceous crops: cereals and other annual crops. From 10 hectares.
What does my cooperative need to do?
Introduce the Program to its members and act as their point of contact. Additionally, it can manage farm data on our platform to receive extra income for that task.
Do we need to instruct members on which practices to apply?
No. Each member decides which practices to adopt.
What do members gain by joining through the cooperative?
A lower joining fee and the convenience of working directly with their own cooperative.
Who buys the credits?
Food companies purchasing your harvest to offset their carbon footprint, companies seeking actual supplier data for reporting, and non-supply chain companies purchasing voluntary market credits to offset emissions.
