Primary data your auditors will accept.

Farm-level, GHG Protocol-aligned, third-party-verified data on the carbon intensity, water footprint, and biodiversity of the agricultural inputs in your supply chain. Built for CSRD, ESRS, SBTi FLAG, and the EU Green Claims Directive.

Why now

Spend-based factors no longer survive assurance.

ESRS E1 (climate) is pushing companies off industry averages and toward primary data particularly for Scope 3 Category 1 (purchased goods and services), where agricultural inputs sit. SBTi FLAG deadlines are now within 24 months for many of you, and FLAG inventories require primary data on a substantial share of your land-sector emissions.

ESRS E4 (biodiversity) demand the same. Spend-based estimates and database averages won't survive limited assurance, let alone reasonable assurance.

And the EU Green Claims Directive raises the cost of imprecise environmental claims further: any "low-carbon," "climate-friendly," or "sustainable" claim about an agricultural input now needs primary evidence behind it.

What you receive

A dataset built for assurance.

Carbon intensity

kg CO₂e per tonne of olive oil, durum, almond, citrus, wine, wheat, tomato at producer, batch, or supply-shed resolution.

Water footprint

Field-level water retention and irrigation data, mapped to your sourcing geographies.

Biodiversity indicators

ESRS E4-aligned indicators, drawn from on-the-ground monitoring across the Radica network.

Assurance trail

Methodology documentation, data lineage, and third-party verification certificates packaged for your CSRD assurance provider.

How primary data delivery works.

We map your sourcing

Together we identify the Mediterranean origins of the agricultural inputs you need data on by ingredient, region, supplier, or batch recognising that most procurement runs on mass balance.

We collect and verify

Across the Radica producer and supply chain partner network and through our agronomist hub network on the ground we collect field-level data on carbon intensity, water, and biodiversity, verified independently.

We deliver

Structured datasets, methodology documentation, and assurance materials formatted for your reporting tools and your auditor.

We support assurance

We work directly with your assurance provider to answer methodology questions, provide source documentation, and defend the data.

Why Radica for primary data.

01) Real producers, real data

Data collected at the farm by our agronomist hub network not modelled from averages. Every datapoint traceable to a producer, plot, and measurement event.

02) GHG Protocol-aligned

Methodology aligned with the GHG Protocol Land Sector & Removals Guidance and Land Use Change Guidance the frameworks your Scope 3 inventory and SBTi FLAG submission already run on.

03) Built for CSRD assurance

Documentation packaged for limited and reasonable assurance under CSRD methodology statements, data lineage from plot to dataset, third-party verification certificates, and direct support to your assurance provider during fieldwork.

04) Mediterranean specificity

Olive, almond, durum, citrus, wine, wheat. The crops that matter most to Mediterranean food and beverage supply chains.

Frequently Asked Questions

Primary Data

How is this different from insetting?

Insetting generates Environmental Attribute Certificates demonstrated against your Scope 3 inventory and produces a reduction. Primary data is a dataset, not a reduction. Many companies need both: data to report, attributes to reduce.

Can the same primary data be sold to me as an insetting attribute and to a different manufacturer as a CSRD dataset?

No. Where a buyer has acquired EACs from a specific group of Radica producers as an insetting solution, the climate attribute of those producers' performance has already been allocated to you and cannot be allocated again. A different manufacturer cannot claim that same attribute against its own inventory. Primary data sold for a manufacturer's own CSRD reporting must come from producers that are actually in that manufacturer's supply chain. We scope this carefully at contract stage.

Will my CSRD assurance provider accept this?

The methodology underpins a BeZero BBB-rated, ICR-registered project that has already been through 2 independent validation and verification cycles. Your assurance provider is reviewing data from a system with an existing verification record, not a first-time methodology.

What resolution is available?

Producer-level, batch-level, or supply-shed level, depending on what your reporting and contract structure requires.

Primary data, built to last under audit.

From your supply chain. To your reporting tools. To your auditor.
